  • To provide pupils with an inspirational PSHE curriculum with high quality teaching at the heart.
  • To promote equality of opportunity to ensure that all pupils know that difference is a positive, not a negative, and ensure that children feel valid and accepted for who they are.
  • To ultimately create lifelong learners with valuable life skills.
  • To embed a firm understanding of the PSHE themes of Relationships, Living in the Wider World and Health and Wellbeing.
  • For pupils to know how to keep safe by making informed and sound decisions when facing risks and challenges, including online.
  • To ensure our pupils flourish in an ever changing and diverse society and understand the importance of inclusion.
  • To develop responsible, respectful and active citizens who are able to play their part and become actively involved in public life as adults.
  • To develop and deepen the understanding of the fundamental British values.
  • To develop pupils’ confidence, resilience and knowledge so that they can keep themselves mentally healthy and ensure children are able to communicate their needs.

  • To help our pupils understand what they need to succeed and achieve careers that they aspire to.
